Hello world!

I am currently a graduate student in the biomedical engineering department at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I am part of the Trace Research & Development Center and Dr. Gregg Vanderheiden is my advisor. My interest and work is diverse, but my main work is around improving access to information and telecommunications technology (ICT) to people with disabilities and those who find themselves impaired because of circumstances or the environment.

I thought that it would be good to start a blog on accessibility and usability of technology. I don’t expect that I will post very frequently, but instead when I want to comment more in depth about particular technology.
